The ASAD Elastic Rifle Mag Insert W/Retention is a modular pouch accessory designed to work with the SMAC 3 components. After fitment in an appropriate pouch this provides elastic retention for 3X 5.56mm 30 round rifle magazines. While the elastic mag holders inherently provide retention once a mag is inserted, a further elastic component is designed to be stretched over the base plate to provide greater security.
